- 4. What type of water sanitisation is used?
At our Bright Waves Werribee location we use chlorinated water to ensure the best possible water quality for our swimmers.
- 5. What is the water temperature?
Our brand new pool heater is set to 31 degrees. Ensuring a balance between air temperature and body temperature.
- 6. What facilities do you have?
Our recently painted pool is a 13m 3 Lane pool. Our newly renovated change rooms have a number of showers, toilets and change cubicles. We also offer off street parking.
- 7. When do your classes run and how long for?
Lessons are in line with the Victorian Public School Terms, finishing on the Sunday of the final week of each school term. There will be no lessons on Victorian Public Holidays, there is no charge for closed dates. Please refer to our Swimming Calendar for lesson dates under Our Program.
Levels 1 - 10 Lessons run for 30 minutes
Levels 11 - 14 Lessons run for 45 minutes
- 8. What happens if we are unable to make it to a lesson?
To ensure all swimmers receive consistently high quality lessons, we believe it is in the best interest of the swimmers that we do not allow ‘make up’ classes. We understand that at times this may not be convenient for all families, however there are impacts of one-off swimmers joining your regular lesson, therefore we believe this approach provides the best swimmer experience for everyone.
If another child in your regular class is away, you will enjoy the benefit of having a smaller class that week rather than having a child replacing them for a make-up lesson.
In cases where a medical certificate is provided there will be no charge for the lesson/s. Each term there is 1 medical absence available per child without a medical certificate.
- 9. What are your payment terms?
Direct debit - Paid monthly in advance, and only debiting for the number of swims scheduled for that month.
There are no fees for joining or cancelling.
- 10. Do i need an assessment before booking?
There is no need to come in and complete an 'in water' assessment. Customers will complete a self assessment using our certificate levels as a guide. Often as carer's we have a fairly good understanding of where our swimmer is at, however if you are unsure feel free to give us a call and we can support you through the decision.
- 11. How do i book my child in? How do i know what level to choose?

The first thing you will need to do is go to the Our Program section on the website and select Certificate Levels. On this page it will help you to decide which program is relevant to your swimmer.
If your swimmer is a Beginner with a Carer then you will be simply booking into the relevant age bracket.
If your swimmer is a Pre Schooler, Learner or Adult you will need to go through the certificates under that program and decide which level would be most suitable to them.
